What is Auto-Scroll?

Auto-Scroll automatically moves the chat to keep the latest AI suggestions in view. You can turn this feature on or off at any time depending on your preference—whether you want automatic updates or manual control over what stays visible during your interview.

How to Toggle Auto-Scroll

  1. Click Settings in the Verve AI interface (gear icon, usually top-right)
  2. Find “Auto Scroll” in the settings menu
  3. Click the toggle switch:
    • Off to disable automatic scrolling and control manually
    • On to enable automatic scrolling to latest responses
  4. Close Settings - Your preference is saved automatically
The change takes effect immediately - no restart needed.
If you can’t locate the Settings button:
  • Check if you’re in an active copilot session
  • Browser users: Try refreshing the page
  • Desktop app users: Restart the application
  • Ensure you’re using the latest version of Verve AI

Best Practices

Turn Auto-Scroll OFF when:
  • You need to reference multiple suggestions at once
  • You’re comparing different response approaches
  • You want to read thoroughly without being interrupted
  • You’re copying key points from earlier in the conversation
Keep Auto-Scroll ON when:
  • You want immediate visibility of new responses
  • You’re following along in real-time
  • You prefer not to manually scroll during the interview
  • You want a hands-free experience
